Getting here and around
All visitors to Cuba require a passport and this is shown to the immigration officials upon arrival. This must be valid for at least six months past the date you are to leave Cuba.
All visitors need a tourist card (Visa) to enter Cuba which should be obtained before you travel. Please, check with your travel agent when book your flight.
Airports and transfers
Varadero Airport is the second largest airport in Cuba and the closest one to the symposium venue. This airport receives direct flights from Europe, Canada, Africa, and Central and South America.
The second closest airport is the Havana International Airport, the largest one in Cuba. The transfer to/from Varadero takes more than two hours.
Transfer to/from the symposium venue will be included in the Accommodation Packages.

Varadero Hop On - Hop Off Bus
These busses run the route from one end of the town of Varadero all the way to the end of the peninsula and back to town again. The round trip takes roughly 2 hours.
The bus ticket costs 5 CUC per person for all day use.
